Northern Renovations is a family owned and operated business in Port Colborne, Ontario. Mario has been a custom cabinet maker since his youth, starting with his father in their family woodworking business in Sherbrooke, Quebec. He has been working in the trade for over 35 years. Daisy joined the team in 2001 as a cabinetry finisher and general "get that job done" kinda lady.
When it comes to renovations, we can handle any job from the foundation to the roof. Looking for a new addition? We can do that. Need your deck or porch fixed? Give us a call. Siding need replacing? That's right up our alley. Need to completely gut and re-finish a room from the floor to ceiling? We're on the job.
Our specialty is custom cabinetry. We build custom kitchens, custom vanities, towel and linen closets and pretty much any other room in the house where you want customized cabinetry. Build-ins are a great way to maximize space in small areas. These can be added to attics, bedrooms and dining rooms to gain practical storage space while making the room more open and beautiful. Our built-in units are practical and blend naturally into the room.
Another way to gain space in homes is through bump-outs in attics to make them full into size rooms. A bump-out is where we open the roof and add various sized and shaped dormers to make the interior attic room a full height. Then we add windows and new flooring and voila - a new full sized room is born!
We have been pioneering the use of specialty sheds to enhance your living space. People have used our sheds for many reasons, from artists who wanted disturbance-free sitting spaces to parents who wanted their teenage children to be able to play their music (loud) in their own youth shack.
We can make custom sheds for entrepreneurs who want more space for their home business or for gardeners who want a potting shed with a built-in greenhouse. Get creative! We'll build a custom shed to suit your purpose.
For avid recyclers we're pleased to introduce our Tidy Shed - designed to handle the many different recycling items you need to get to the curb. Keep it all in one neat and tidy shed to keep smells at bay and critters away. We also offer Granny's Green Pantry - an inside recycling center dressed as a free-standing cabinet.
